105  Theosis - Crucifixion of humanity
Similar copy of that work of art (my creation) is also in the collection of Byzantine Museum in Athens. The project is divided in three parts.
First:
The crucifixion of truth. The body of Jesus Christ and at the same time Christian’s body – symbol of truth – is crucified all over the whole earth. The legs are place to Israel and the head stands above Russia.
Second:
From all the wounds of Jesus originates the “water of life” In other words, His blood, and it feeds the whole universe. The blood that comes out from the right hand, flows out in the river and waters all Europe. The “water of life” is poured in river {Volga} from the left hand of Christianity. The atheism there, poured rivers of blood. The blood of the lance, is poured in the other river. At the source of the wound, goes small human heads, to take {holy communion}. On Jesus tongue, is engraved the word “διψώ” (I’m thirsty). He is thirsty to take holy communion from the holy love of His brotherhood, but in the end, the reward that he takes is the souls.
Third:
The members of Jesus. The body of Human-God is consisted of small heads (His children). The poorest members are placed on His hungry stomach and the most beloved on His heart. The good element is one, only & divine and nothing’s going lost. The truth is that he cohabit ate with God.
Upper part
This work is the continue of Crucifixion of humanity. Every member of Christian’s fraternity, that consist the body of Christ, is entered and welcomed from our Father in heaven. Christ is holding His children & church by the hand.
