  • Most of the artist's sold items went at an average of 6000 english pounds. In particular, all the busts that you see here were sold at Sothebys for 6000 english pounds. 
  • Many of the artist's items decorate various public and private sites and are being demonstrated in this website by copies.
  • Almost everything on display is for sale and very few are there for decorative reasons.

"Amongst the greek museums, the Economou Museum hosts the works of Sculptor Painter Philosopher and Poet Demetrious Economou.
Amongst all he is also famous for his Arcadic spirit philosophy.
He is the 1999 Florence Bienalle Gold Medal winner. 
His works have been shown in museums in Athens, London and Frankfurt
The artist is still alive and almost everything on display are his works
Very few are for decorative purpose and in many the artist creates narratives, often on demand. The museum is included among the most popular museums in Greece."
